Scripture: “Love is patient…” – 1 Corinthians 13:4a
Reflection:
In our fast-paced world, patience often feels like a lost art. However, true love, as God intended, is patient. It waits, endures, and doesn’t rush to judgment or action. Jesus exemplified patience in His ministry, taking time to listen, heal, and teach. When we find ourselves getting frustrated or hurried, let’s remember that patience is a reflection of God’s love within us.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your endless patience with us. Help us to reflect that same patience in our interactions today. Teach us to slow down, to listen, and to love others with the patience that Jesus showed. Amen.
Action Step:
Today, practice patience in your interactions. Take a deep breath when you feel impatient, and ask God to help you respond with love. Whether you’re stuck in traffic, waiting in line, or dealing with a difficult person, let patience be your guide.
