Scripture: “It does not envy…” – 1 Corinthians 13:4c
Reflection:
Envy is a destructive emotion that can corrode our relationships and contentment. True love celebrates others’ successes and blessings without feeling diminished. Jesus rejoiced in the good fortunes of others and teaches us to do the same. Let love drive out envy from our hearts.
Prayer:
Gracious God, guard our hearts against envy. Help us to find contentment in Your love and to celebrate the blessings You give to others. Teach us to trust in Your plan for our lives and to be grateful for what we have. Amen.
Action Step:
When you feel envy creeping in, turn it into a prayer of gratitude. Thank God for the blessings in your life and pray for the continued blessings of others. Practice contentment and focus on the unique path God has set for you.
